The 1963 Ford Thunderbird was the final year of the Bullet Thunderbird model. It received several upgrades, including a quieter exhaust system, sound-deadening material, and an improved electrical system.

Features:

Engine: The 1963 Thunderbird had a 390 cubic inch V-8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor. The M-code engine had a high compression ratio and three Holley two-barrel carburetors, producing 340 horsepower.

Transmission: The 1963 Thunderbird had a 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission.

Brakes: The 1963 Thunderbird had power-assisted hydraulic drum brakes.

Suspension: The 1963 Thunderbird had independent front coil-spring suspension and a live rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs.

Steering: The 1963 Thunderbird had a Tilt-A-Way steering column.

Radio: The 1963 Thunderbird had an AM radio, and an AM/FM radio was available.

Mirrors: The 1963 Thunderbird had a remote driver's side mirror.
