The 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria was a car built in San Jose, California.

For 1956, the Fairlane received a few updates, including:

New V8 options: The 292 cu in (4.8 L) and 312 cu in (5.1 L) V8 engines were more powerful than previous models, with the larger engine available up to 225 bhp (168 kW; 228 PS)

Lifeguard safety package: This package was introduced for 1956

Two-door Victoria hardtop: This model had a new, slimmer roofline

One-year-only station wagon: The 1956 Ford Parklane was a two-door station wagon with Fairlane-level trim that was marketed to compete with the Chevrolet Nomad

The Fairlane Victoria also came with a variety of features, including:

Power steering and upgraded power brakes

Air conditioning system

Rocker moldings

Fender skirts with stone shields
