History

and Facts

The 1963 Marauder was introduced as a "1963 1/2" model, marking the first mid-year introduction for the Marauder.

It was only available in two-door pillarless hardtop body styles, including a two-door notchback hardtop coupe.

Equipped with a 427 engine that produced 410 horsepower with a four-barrel, the Marauder also had a Super 427 model that produced 425 horsepower.

The 1963 Marauder featured a semi-fastback roofline, marketed by Mercury as a sub-model known as the Marauder.

Buyers could choose from the Monterey Custom-based Marauder and the Marauder S-55.

Notably, the 1963 Marauder was equipped with front disc brakes and a dual master cylinder for enhanced safety.
